Design and Optimization of PMSM for Injection Molding Machine

Abstract With the implementation of “dual carbon policy”, traditional injection molding machine transmission system pays more and attention to improving energy efficiency for drive motor, PM motor has obvious advantages in because its high high-power density. A permanent magnet servo (PMSM) an with a rated power 7 kW is designed based on theory PMSM this paper. The 2D finite element analysis (FEA) model set up. electromagnetic performance parameters are obtained, including cogging torque, torque ripple, output no-load back EMF. optimized analyzed. results show that reduced ripple without affecting capacity, which suitable application machine.
